Curvature change is achievable in Dr.Talwalkar’s Directable Stylet when the tube is in the patient & to guide it in the trachea in its right place, unlike other stylets which do not allow the user to manipulate shape of the stylet during intubation. Suitable for nasal or oral intubation and for both red rubber and disposable  E/T tubes of 7.5 mm I.D. & above.

Available in three different sizes Small, Medium & Large to cover the entire range of 2.5mm to 11.00mm tubes. Made from malleable stainless steel, will not form sulphates or oxides or peeling of chromium plating as in stylets made from copper or aluminium. A plastic handle moulded onto the stylet provides an easy & firm grip.

Suitable for all the three sizes of stylets. Prevents unintentional advancement of stylet beyond distal tip of E/T tubes; stylet can be lengthened or shortened by sliding the stop to desired position.

Aids intubation by directing the tip of the E/T tube into the larygeal inlet when it is difficult to bring the larynx and vocal cords into view. Useful in post extubation or reintroduction of the tube. Tube inserted orally or nasally can be changed using this device.

For guiding tracheal tubes under direct vision.  The handles are specially curved so that operator’s hand does not obstruct his view.  The forceps are made from stainless steel.

In laryngoscopy, damage to teeth or gums is caused by using the teeth as the fulcrum point for the laryngoscope while elevating the epiglottis. Placing the tooth protector on the upper teeth will protect the teeth from damage by contact with flange of the laryngoscope blade and also from getting caught in the gap between teeth.

7005 - Polycarbonate
It rotates through 360o both at patient and distal ends. Has 15mm Male at the distal end for breathing circuit and the dual 22mm Male / 15mm Female connection at patient end, suitable for both 15mm E/T straight connectors and face masks. The third end (port) has a seal around cap which has been designed for fibre optic bronchoscopy limb maintaining an airtight breathing system. The rubber cap may be removed for suctioning, if required.

15mm Female on one side for 15mm E/T tracheal connectors, 15mm Male on other end for breathing circuit or keep open for atmostpheric air and in the middle a nipple for gas flow. It is very useful to administer oxygen and atmostpheric air in addition to its being a component of the J.R. Paediatric circuit.

Designed to avoid using adhesive tape for tracheal tube fixation. It is wrapped around the patient’s head under slight pulling and  is fixed with buttons at the fixation strip. Specially useful for patients with beard or patients with burn or other injuries on the face.
