3303 - Oxygen 3304 - Nitrous Oxide 3305 - Air 3306 - Vacuum The outlet points from which gases & vacuum are drawn are of self sealing type and have non-interchangeable outlet fittings. The supply is established simply by inserting the appropriate safety key plug into the orifice of the outlet point and pressing it home until it locks in position. To break the connection, the milled collar round the orifice is rotated a few degrees to the right, when the safety key plug is automatically ejected and the gas flow is cut off.

Minimum contact guages & Gas Failure Alarm for pipelines

3324 - 0 - 250kg/cm2 High Pressure, Oxygen, Dia 100mm 3326 - 0 - 10kg/cm2 Low Pressure, Oxygen, Dia 100mm 3350 - Pipeline Gas Failure Alarm The contact gauge has electrical contacts. It should be connected to the pipeline gas failure alarm which has two signal lights, a buzzer & an “ON/OFF” switch. When the contact gauge is connected to the power supply and the ON/OFF switch of the alarm is switched “ON”, green light will show indicating that the electrical supply serving the contact gauge & alarm are working correctly. The green light should show at all times when the pipeline is in use. The other signal light viz red is a warning light which automatically shows & the buzzer rings when the pressure in the running cylinder has fallen to a determined value. Put the switch to “OFF” position after which the reserve cylinder should be brought into operation promptly to ensure continuity of supply.

Rao's Vaccum Regulators
1203 - 0 to 760mm Hg. 1230 - 0 to 200mm Hg. 1220 - 0 to 500mm Hg. Rao’s range of vacuum regulators represents the ultimate in vacuum control. High (0-760mm Hg), Medium (0-500mm Hg) & Low suction (0-200mm Hg). These cover all the medical central pipeline applications of the operation theatres & wards. The regulator comprises of a polymer body which houses an ON/OFF lever, an adjustable knob at the front, a large diaphragm for accurate suction control and a vacuum gauge with different scales depending on model 760, 500 & 200. The ON/OFF lever allows the operator to start or stop suction by turning the lever, with the adjustable knob, the operator can set the amount of vacuum necessary. The medium & low volume regulators have a safety valve set to open between 450 & 475mm Hg for medium suction and between 150 & 175mm Hg for low suction.

Vaccum units

1250 - 600ml 1201 - 1000ml 1202 - 2000ml 1260 - 4000ml Vacuum units are available in 600, 1000, 2000 & the new 4000ml capacity. The jars are made of polycarbonate, practically unbreakable, shatter resistant and autoclavable at 1340 C. ABS is used for other components to withstand hard usage and provide trouble free service over a long period of time. A stainless steel bracket is provided on the cap as a separate component and not as an integral part of the cap to avoid the cap breaking, when the jar gets filled with suction fluids. The bracket fits directly on the mounting bracket on the wall. A well proven fluid control trap fitted on the unit automatically and efficiently shuts off vacuum fully, preventing the transfer of liquid to the vacuum regulator, pipeline and pump.

Safety Jar
1263 The Safety Jar comprises of a cap with well proven fluid control trap and an autoclavable polycarbonate clear jar. It is fitted between the primary vacuum units and the vacuum regulator to protect the system from aspirated fluids entering the regulator, pipeline and pump. In the interest of greater safety & efficiency, we have specially designed the unit for this purpose and to fall in line with international practice.
